HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT SOPHIE PARIS?
I discovered Sophie through social media when I ordered Magic Pink Cream online. After I tried the product, I was amazed with its natural pinkish glow and it really works like magic. Walang hulas ang ganda! Because of that, I thought of starting a business with Sophie.
WHAT ENCOURAGED YOU TO PURSUE A SOPHIE BUSINESS?
I'm a business minded person but I make sure that I use the products before I recommend and sell them. I was really amazed when I tried Sophie’s products because they are classy, elegant & affordable. I don't like wearing make-up but when I started using Sophie cosmetics, it made me more beautiful and gave me self-confidence. I am also a fashionista and I think the Sophie Business fits my personality.
HOW WAS THE START OF YOUR SOPHIE JOURNEY?
It was awesome! I decided to sign up last April 24, 2019 and became a Junior Franchisee in a span of 6 days! A lot of women showed interest to join Sophie as a result of my Facebook video using the Magic Pink Cream. We immediately created a group chat to welcome our new Sophienistas and called it "SOPHIE TEAM BFV" (Bhim's Fashion Vibes). In my first month as a member, I was promoted twice as SILVER and GOLD FRANCHISEE. I had 6 direct downlines who eventually became Franchisees too! I was also awarded as TOP GROUP SALES PRODUCER & BEST IN RECRUITMENT. I worked hard to qualify for the SLC STAR 1 from January to June 2019 by attaining the program accumulation and I was again promoted last July as DIAMOND FRANCHISEE. I’m thankful to have met our Sophie Paris Cainta Business Center Owner Ms. Nancy Consignado. Because of my eagerness and passion, she immediately motivated and inspired me. We enjoy working with her because she's a cool mentor with a good heart. Likewise, I am thankful for my lovely and gorgeous sponsor, Ms. Jen Maramot, for introducing me to Sophie Paris.
WHAT WERE YOUR INITIAL FEARS AND HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
Fear of saying NO. As an entrepreneur, you have to be sure that the work you’re taking on is helping you build something bigger and aligns with your core mission. It's tempting to take every project & pursue every lead when you're just starting your business. But if you stretch yourself too thin, you won't do any of it well. It's ok to say NO, so you can say YES to the right things.
HOW WAS SOPHIE ABLE TO DEVELOP YOU PERSONALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY?
I've learned 3 things as a Leader:
LEARN TO FOLLOW. A true Leader has no problem yielding control to another person when needed. Don’t feel threatened when someone disagrees, questions, or puts forth ideas of their own. Keep an open mind, value and respect your team & they'll be more likely to step up to the plate for you.
INSPIRE OTHERS. Motivate and inspire others to collaborate as best they can. When a team member needs encouragement & guidance, offer it. Sometimes, all a person needs is someone who listens and sympathizes.
KEEP LEARNING AND GROWING. Keep learning new things to keep your mind sharp, your skills fresh, and prime you for new challenges that may come your way.
HOW DID SOPHIE HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS AND HOW DID IT AFFECT YOUR LIFE?
I met many amazing new people, found a team & a new family. My family inspires and encourages me to be the best. With my first rebates last June, I used it for my son's education expenses as well as cover utility bills. Sophie also gave me additional capital for my ukay-ukay business. I have learned the importance of grit, passion and resilience.
I have proven that I can make good decisions and build a successful business without compromising the quality of life that I enjoy.
DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS YOU WANT TO SHARE TO OTHER SOPHIE MEMBERS WHO ASPIRE TO BECOME LEADERS?
The first step towards being a good Leader is to have the desire to take the lead. Inspire yourself first then inspire others. I would like to share my 5 steps to achieve my goal: DREAM. Dare to dream of the possibilities for yourself, your family, and for others. If you have a dream that you let grow cold, re-ignite it. Fan the flames. Life is too short to let it go. BELIEVE. Your dream needs to be big but it also must be believable. You must be able to say that despite its bigness, if others help & you work hard, it can be done. PLAN. The saying "YOU GET WHAT YOU PLAN FOR" is true. Sit down and strategize. Think through the details, break it down into small, workable parts, and set a time frame for each task on your dream plan. WORK FOR IT. Successful people are hardworkers. You have to work on it each day and you will eventually achieve your dream. ENJOY THE JOURNEY! Reward yourself along the way. Help others enjoy it. Be gracious and generous. Use your dream to better others. I promise you, your life can be better!
WHAT IS YOUR SOPHIE GOAL THIS 2019?
I look forward to end the year with a big bang. Like what they say, "Dream Big". Dream, believe in yourself, work for it, and you will get what you want. I am now a DIAMOND FRANCHISEE with close to 500 team members and we are working on our road to 1,000 members before the year ends. I also aim to be promoted as EXCUTIVE FRANCHISEE and to qualify as SLC AMBASSADOR 4. Last and most importantly, our goal is for our Team BFV Sophienistas to enjoy continued success with the guidance and the direction of our servicing Business Center BC312 Cainta and the leadership of Ms.Nancy Consignado.
