HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT SOPHIE PARIS AND OUR PRODUCTS?
I found out about Sophie Paris when I saw the social media post of my friend Ate Tintin Farinas. I did not start as a consumer. I only checked Sophie consumer feedback and saw members’ posts regarding their rebates and I was so amazed so I decided to be a Sophie Paris member.

WHAT ENCOURAGED YOU TO PURSUE A SOPHIE BUSINESS?
I was a college student when I joined Sophie Paris. My family and my college course encouraged me to pursue a Sophie Business because I wanted to help my husband in providing the needs of our family. I also wanted to be able to support myself while studying.

HOW WAS THE START OF YOUR SOPHIE JOURNEY?
It was my birth month when I became a member so I told my friends to simply buy Sophie products from me as their birthday gifts to me. That’s why on my first month, I was able to sell a lot. One of the memorable experiences in my Sophie journey is when my sister-in-law asked me to choose a beautiful bag. I thought she was buying it for herself but when the product arrived, it turned out that she was giving me the bag as a gift! It was the first Sophie bag I ever had and I felt so happy and grateful because she knew that I would not buy my own bag at that time since my priority was to purchase and sell the products instead of buying for myself.

WHAT WERE YOUR INITIAL FEARS AND CHALLENGES & HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
I used to fear rejection that’s why I get orders only from my friends because I knew they won’t reject me. But as I was doing the Sophie business, I realized that rejection is everywhere. Not all people will be convinced by your selling skills and buy your products. So I learned to face my fear of rejection and started offering the products to everybody. I learned to always look at the brighter side: buy it or not, at least I get to improve my self-confidence and my selling skills!  

DO YOU FEEL THAT SOPHIE WAS ABLE TO DEVELOP YOU PERSONALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY?

  • Don't lose hope if sometimes you don’t have enough sales. Just find another market, recruit more and duplicate yourself.
  • Be hardworking, strategic, and don’t be discouraged easily.
  • Be patient and love what you are doing. That’s what my loving husband, James Solon, always tells me. :) Fight, fight, fight!!! Believe in yourself! Just like what my leaders and mentors, Ms. Tintin Farinas (Sophie San Jose Sub-Center) and Ms. Angela Ferrer (Sophie Cabanatuan Business Center) always taught me.
  • And most importantly, in everything you do, put God first and always pray. :)

 

WHAT IS YOUR SOPHIE GOAL?
My Sophie goal is to hit my targets, reach and recruit more people who are goal-getters and big-hearted dreamers, and help them grow, earn more, and build a stronger network.
